Europe Together

After a couple of months apart, we recommenced our travels together starting in Geneva, Switzerland. We were here to pay a visit to the CERN research facility - below are some shots.

After CERN, it was time to hit the road again. Our destination - Spain. Fortunately, we took a wrong turn on our hitchhiking adventure and passed south through the Alps, ending up in Italy!

Once we realised we were on the wrong track, it was time to embrace it. To Italia!

Once in Italy, we hit up the International Genoa Boat Show. Basically two kids in a candy store - where the candy is very, very expensive

From Genoa, we took a couple of days to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre

Having failed to get to Spain by hitching, another method was adopted and we caught a boat from Genoa to Barcelona. Here we met up with Sam, one of Tim's friends from home who spent a couple of weeks travelling with us. Below are some shots of our explorations, including many Gaudi buildings

From Barcelona, we used trains to navigate our way south. To Tarragona and then onto Granada.
